ISO-specification containers, either new-build or single-trip. CSC plate included, colour and identification marking to your specification, supplied from multiple ports in China.
Why we separate them: a single-trip unit is often the best value on the market, but it is not a new-build container. Offers that blur the two are the reason buyers ask for a survey they did not expect to need.
Indicative figures for the standard dry containers. Actual dimensions vary by manufacturer and by unit — the specification sheet for the specific container is what governs.
| Type | Internal length | Internal width | Internal height | Nominal capacity | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 20GP | ≈ 5.90 m | ≈ 2.35 m | ≈ 2.39 m | ≈ 33 m³ | Dense cargo, compact site storage |
| 40GP | ≈ 12.03 m | ≈ 2.35 m | ≈ 2.39 m | ≈ 67 m³ | Voluminous but light cargo |
| 40HQ | ≈ 12.03 m | ≈ 2.35 m | ≈ 2.69 m | ≈ 76 m³ | Cargo where height matters |
| 20OT / 40OT | Standard frame | Standard | Open roof | Top-loaded | Over-height or top-loaded pieces |
| 20FR / 40FR | Platform | No side walls | — | Out-of-gauge | Machinery, project cargo |
Payload and gross weight limits depend on the unit's tare weight and the CSC plate. Confirm against the plate of the specific container before you plan a load.
Standard colours from factory stock, or a specified RAL reference where lead time allows.
Company name, logo and numbering applied at the factory — not stencilled at the depot afterwards.
Standard container flooring by default; alternatives depend on the manufacturer and quantity.
CSC safety approval plate as standard. Additional certification for a specific trade is confirmed per order.
What you need, how many, and where the container has to end up.
We confirm which port can supply it and give a lead time window, not a guess.
Specification, depot, delivery basis and price confirmed per enquiry before anything is committed.
Single-trip means the container was manufactured new and has carried one cargo movement, normally as a delivery leg from the factory. It is not a new-build unit, but it has not been through a service life of repeated loads. We state whether a unit is new-build or single-trip on the offer, because the two are priced differently.
Yes. Colour and identification marking can be specified before manufacture. Marking is normally applied at the factory, which means it adds lead time rather than being a finishing touch at the depot. Tell us the artwork and the colour reference at enquiry stage, not after the order is confirmed.
Yes. New containers are supplied with a CSC safety approval plate, which is what allows the unit to be used in international transport. For used units the plate is checked as part of inspection, and its validity date is stated on the offer.
Lead time depends on the type, the quantity, the port and whether custom colour or marking is involved. Standard units from existing stock move fastest; factory orders with customisation take longer. We give a lead time window with the offer and confirm it against production, rather than quoting a fixed number in advance.
Tell us the type, the quantity, the city the container must reach, and whether you need custom colour or marking. We come back with availability, depot and lead time.
